Description:

This individual will be responsible for the enterprise information management infrastructure and platform services administration as well as implementation of best practices within the IT development organization specific to the Informatica products - Data Quality, PowerCenter, Cloud, Information Lifecycle Management Suite, and Proactive Monitoring for Power Center.

Strong experience in software installations and the ability to execute, upgrades, apply patches, and configure Informatica software packages on Windows and UNIX environments. 

Perform system administration including routine trouble-shooting, user permission roles and security maintenance, performance monitoring and usage monitoring. 

Define, Enhance and follow Informatica/ETL best practices and processes for development and deployment.Strong UNIX and shell scripting tools. 

Identify performance and optimization opportunities by collaborating with database and development teams. 

Experience with DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase and UDB relational databases 

Good understanding of the Informatica tool set with ability to use the right tools for given requirements.Experience and working knowledge with of PowerExchange for DB2 z/OS (on the mainframe) and the way Informatica tools interact with the DB2 database. 

Support testing, deployment and ongoing support of operational and data warehouse systems. 

Ability to write moderately complex shell scripts using Windows PowerShell or Unix shell scripting 

Ability to plan and execute a project to completion. 

Proactively raise and resolve issues and manage problem resolution efforts with vendor support
