Description:
SAP Solution Manager Functional Analyst

 

JOBS DESCRIPTION:
- Defines, develops and maintains Solution Manager 7.1 Configuration as per business requirements.
- Support multiple ECC, BW, PI and BOBJ production and project landscapes in Solution Manager with complex support demands.
- Design, develop, test and document enhancements to Solution Manager to include functional specifications, test documents in compliance with the Global SAP Solution Manager Change Management process.
- Deliver innovative solutions for RSLAF (Run SAP Like a Factory) and BSLAF (Build SAP like a Factory) Solution Manager Components to further streamline operations of Global SAP Solution Center.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to Incident and Change Management. Including authorization issues, transport related issues, task list actions and system errors.
- Develop and maintain user guides and how-to documents for procedures used by Solution Manger team to maintain system.
- Conduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions to production support teams for major enhancements and projects support.
- Perform ongoing maintenance activities for Solution Manager functions to include master data.
- Define and support generation of ad-hoc reports for management reporting.
- Provide guidance on project deployment strategies, and needed activities for refresh of ChaRM landscapes.
- Provide support during regression testing.
- Coordinate with extended team to delivery functional and technical enhancements.
- Works self-directed and independently, may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
- Follows applicable AIG Standards, Procedures, Guidelines and Methodologies in the implementation and/or maintenance of financial applications.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of Solution Manager configuration (CRM UI, Service Desk, Work Centers, Change Request Management, Alerts, Action Profiles) .
- Total of 6+ years IT experience operating in an environment with well-defined Change Control.
- Participated in 1 or more Solution Manager Implementations and/or upgrades.
- Experience with SAP Transport Management and SAP Solution Manager Change Management process.
- Experience with SAP ECC, BI, suite of applications.
