Job Title: Data Analyst / Data Architect

Location: Washington, DC

Duration:4+ months

Emp. Type: W2 / 1099

 

 

Required Technical Skills:

1. Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Science or Statistics or other data intensive discipline.
2. Technology Platform knowledge as specified in Section II.
3. 2 + years of experience as Information architecture / management strategist.
4. 5 + years of experience in information architecture.
5. 10 + years of experience in data modeling and/or data analysis.
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with IFC Business & IT Senior Leadership.
7. Excellent document & technical writing skills in English language.
8. Experience facilitating issue resolution session.
9. Ability to describe data mapping and data migration techniques.
10. Demonstrated hands-on experience developing Entity Relationship Models and Data Flow Diagram.
11. Ability to export lists of data elements from Erwin Models.
12. Ability to extract lists of included data elements from Informatica PowerCenter ETL feeds and databases leveraging PL/SQL.
13. Demonstrated hands-on experience in analyzing large databases.
14. Competent in office technology tools with advanced Excel and Access skills.
15. Data mining skills (including data auditing, aggregation, validation and reconciliation) are a plus.

Assignment Details:
1. Analyze current usage of Contact data. define and document all IFC systems / user groups leveraging client contact data.
2. Report on current quality state of client contact data. Current state of the client contact data quality needs to be included in architecture solution options. For example: does the ROI (Quality vs # of contacts vs Usage etc.) support cleanup and leveraging of contact data & or archive / retire and start a new Contact system from scratch.
3. Perform impact analysis on the client systems regarding changes to IFC contact data. For example: what is the impact to the client systems if decisions are made to archive & remove un-needed Contact data.
