Job Description:

 

The Product Development Professional Role will be part of the SF Offerings and Initiatives department within the Single Family Division. The SF Offerings and Initiatives department is responsible for identifying, evaluating, designing, developing, and implementing new or enhanced offerings, concepts, and business or technology projects initiated by the Single Family Division. SF Offerings and Initiatives engages business areas across the company including technology to identify and resolve impacts related to the projects being implemented.

 

 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Working on multi-disciplinary projects with a strong customer focus
Work with stakeholders to elicit, develop, analyze, document, communicate and validate requirements for the design and implementation of Selling System enhancements and updates.
Meeting facilitation including agendas, meeting minute preparation and meeting presentation development
Business process modeling and data analysis including development of business process flows and procedures
Supporting Issue and risk tracking and resolution
Review and analysis of business requirements to develop test scenarios and test cases to conduct user acceptance testing of the Selling System

 

 

 

Basic Requirements:

 

2-4 years of experience in a business analysis role (business requirements elicitation and development, business process redesign , data analysis, impact assessment and business application testing)
Experience working on change management projects especially projects involving changes to business applications and technology
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, DOORS and HPQC
Self-starter / independent thinker: demonstrated ambition to take on new roles with increasing responsibility with limited guidance and direction from management
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
Bachelors degree

 

 

 

Preferred Skills:

 

Experience in the mortgage financing industry is strong preferred; Specific experience in Secondary Marketing, Mortgage Financing/ Pricing/Security or mortgage pricing concepts or accounting is required
Analytical thinking; able to amass and analyze large volumes of seemingly disparate data with limited guidance
Flexibility: ability to adapt to changing priorities in support of team needs
Strong interpersonal skills
Must have experience working on teams and be team player
Proven ability to learn new business concepts and skills quickly
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Detailed oriented
Strong customer focus and knowledge of how technology can benefit the customer
