Job Description:
The Test Engineer will be a member of a team that manages 25 million messages a day between 200 countries. They ensure a message is sent and received accurately and correctly the sender and recipient are verified there 7-30 check points between a single transmission that must be tested to ensure success. XML messages are created to check vulnerability and Unix Administration skills will also be utilized.

***Candidates must be experts in all of the following: Shell/Perl/XML environments, analyzing requirements,
automated testing, test case development and execution and collecting and analyzing test results. As well, hands on functional testing experience is required***

Scope of Work:
. Test preparation, execution and reporting.
. Participate in requirements/design reviews of new products to analyze requirements, ensure testability, and identify design defects.
. Create procedures that will find errors existing in the product and execute test cases/regression tests to ensure deviations between specified and implemented functions are identified.
. Investigate and troubleshoot failed tests both from a functional and technical perspective.
. Implement test automation where applicable.
. Develop test schedules and ensure follow-through so that deadlines for testing completion are met.
. Propose and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Ths role requires strong "messaging based" automation skills in an XML environment using PERL (mandatory) and Java (desired). Automation experience for web and/or GUI based applications will not be in line with the experience required to perform in this role. Please understand that this is a testing position and will require running manual tests as well.
