Relevant Experience (Yrs)     :    Total 7-8 Years of experience as Technical consultant. Recommended to have at least 3 years of hands on experience on ETL tools.
Necessary Skills     :    ·    Experience in architecture and design of the DI/ETL environment using Datastage.·    Provide guidance to the development team and recommendations to optimize the data extraction and loading using ETL jobs.·    Strong working knowledge of Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server and/or other large RDBMS.·    Good understanding of design considerations for high volume transaction systems.·    Good communication skills (Verbal + Written) and convincing skills to various stakeholders.
Desired Skills        ·    Hands on experience in DataStage v8.·    Experience in Data Modeling, Database Performance Tuning.·    DataStage Administration
Roles & Responsibilities    :    ·    Understand the existing ETL architecture and propose design recommendations as per DataStage 8.5 new features.·    Design ETL frameworks and highly re-usable components within the constraints of the infrastructure architecture·    Maintain up-to-date technical resolutions ·    Present solutions to various stakeholders
Generic Managerial Skills    :    ·    Good Customer communication·    Able to lead a team of 7-8 members. Delegate, track and monitor performance·    Report progress/challenges to Service Delivery Manager
