Job Title: Sr. MS SQL Server Developer
Location: Baltimore, MD (downtown)
Duration: 6+ mo. contract (strong possibility of extensions)

Description:

We are looking for a hard-core SQL Developer who has deep knowledge in stored procedures. Any experience with .net is a plus. We are not looking for front-end development in .net, simply someone who can load data in using .net My client will train on SSRS; however candidates .net skill should not be limited to script tasks withing SSRS and SSIS.
Candidates should have a miniumum of 8 years of technical/business experience.
Excellent communication skills are a MUST. Financial Services experience, specifically Fixed Income is a nice to have. Candidate must be willing to attend an in-person interviewing following a telephone interview.
This is a role that will have interaction with users so the candidate must be well spoken with good interpersonal skills. This team employs persons with a mix of data, technical and business skills - and a strong mix is required.
The candidate will also interface with Fixed Income Quantitative Analysts and Investment Liasons (Fixed Income Analysts).

Skill Set:
- MS SQL Server SQL Stored Procedures, Version 8.x - Expert (5+ years)
- MS Reporting Services (aka SSRS), version 8.x - Expert (5+ years)
- Communication must be excellent - Expert (5+ years)
- Data Analysis Skills - Expert (5+ years)

Desired:
- SSIS or Informatica job creation experience - Intermediate (1-3 years)
