Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Required Skills:

JavaScript Developer candidates will be responsible for providing technical leadership and mentoring junior developers
Adding functionality to Front End UX/UI Applications
Ensuring that browsers run efficiently
Working directly with the UX/ UI team who is responsible for wireframes, navigation and working with End Users.

Responsible for systems design, development and systems integration.

The Continuous Integration Specialist will support the set-up, maintenance and further development of a software engineering infrastructure across multiple, complex application systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of web and java development environments and will have:

- Exceptional soft skills because they will be working with developers and end users and giving presentations (workflows/participating on the review board).
- Solid configuration Management experience and the ability to write/build deployment scripts.
- Experience developing policies, standards and guidelines for the development infrastructure.
- Experience managing change, release, automation and deployment of software applications.
- Experience training and supporting developers in source control, build automation, test automation and deployment.
- Experience moving code from development and testing phases to staging and production and troubleshooting the issues that occur when moving code from development to testing to production.

Responsibilities:

Engaging with the application development projects and supporting them in setting up and improving their continuous integration environments.
Maintaining proper health and uptime of the software engineering / continuous integration.
Responsible for the management of the code repository along with the maintenance of the continuous build/code quality scripts and processes.
Manage Repository utilizing tools such as Maven, Sonar, Jenkins and Nexus.
Work with SPN to generate and automate build process.
Automate builds into DEV/TEST/PROD environments.
Developing test scripts that support application testing.
Setup Texo Rules.
Be involved in Review Board.
Contributing to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations Agile project life-cycle.
Ability to exercise sound judgment across a broad range of circumstances.
Developing and executing short-range plans/decisions.

Qualifications:

5 plus years of experience performing similar duties as outlined above.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and/or university (Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering).
Experience in various Build technologies like Maven, Ant, Sonar , Nexus.
Experience in Java, Web application development.
You have 5 or more years of experience in RDBMS (such as MS SQL Server, Oracle), Application Development/Software Engineering/Design Patterns, technical documentation, configuration management, and release management principles.

PLUS:

Establishing & maintaining the application testing infrastructure and tools such as Selenium and JUnit.
