Java Developer

The project uses the latest GuideWire Edge framework which allows the consumer-facing application (Quote and Bind) to interface with GuideWire PolicyCenter to provide online quotes and policy purchase.

Requirements for the position:

o Must have strong front-end development experiences, e.g HTML, JQuery, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax

o Should have Strong Java/J2EE/EE5 (JSP, Servlets, Spring JMS, JDBC etc) knowledge and experience

o Should have worked on Application servers like WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat etc

o Strong development knowledge in Web Services preferred

o Good knowledge in Object Oriented concepts and understanding of design patterns (MVC, Gof, J2EE)

o Good database knowledge (SQL/DB2 or Oracle)

o Good understanding Java based technology and architecture concepts.

o Excellent communication skills and should be a team player

o Guidewire experience (in Policy center/Claims Center/Billing Center) Preferred (optional at this time)
