Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Manage high priority, complex systems projects (both software and hardware work streams) for a leading systems development group within the enterprise that integrates Java, C++, Oracle RAC and VDB, iSeries / DB2, web services, enterprise messaging, third party applications, and other related technologies.

• Facilitate all related enterprise systems development life cycle processes throughout the systems development life cycle.

• Construct (and modify / re-structure over the course of the SDLC) complex project schedules that may change over time due to new priorities that may arise.



• Communicate project status to all business, I.T., quality assurance, infrastructure and executive level project sponsors and stakeholders.

• Driven, passionate and fully engaged on all projects.

• Must be proactive in terms of issues resolution so critical project milestones are not impacted and so project goals are achieved on or ahead of schedule.

• Be able to work with different backgrounds and skill sets across project teams.

• Must have a great appreciation for systems architecture and ensuring that quality systems are developed to ensure architectural standards are met and to minimize manual operations and support.

• Must be able to determine and retrieve various project information to new and existing project team members.

• Candidate should be able to manage projects successfully in a changing environment in terms of resources, project priorities and corporate processes.

• The candidate ideally has 10+ years of experience within I.T. and 5+ years of experience in Project Management.

Educational Requirements:

• Ideally the candidate has a B.S. in Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or M.I.S.

Ideally the candidate also has an operations and logistics background given the subject matter of the related systems and projects.
