Job Description:

Continuous Deployment Automation

You will work on implementing a next generation Private Cloud PaaS Platform and enabling onboarding of Next Generation, Legacy and COTS applications onto the PaaS Platform.

As a Senior Development Operations Engineer you will be helping define and configure Application Deployment Blueprints in the Private Cloud PaaS platform. You will also assist in automated deployments of applications to the target Private or Public Clouds.

Required Experience:

We are building a high powered team for a Continuous Deployment Automation workflow from a New Developer Onboarding to Code Checkin, Build, Deployment and Production Logging, Monitoring and Predictive Analytics.

This would be built on top of our Platform and would require integration with various tools and apps for Code Scanning, Unit Testing, and Data Loading including technologies like Puppet.

Ideal candidate must have worked in high performance, highly complex deployment environments and done hands on Dev Ops automation for Capital Markets, Mortgages or Financial Services area.

Technical Base Skills:

You must have hands on skills in Scripting in Linux/Unix

You must have done Deployment Automation for applications using scripts or tools like Puppet, Chef or Salt

You must have experience in running and managing Continuous Integration environments

You must be familiar with Monitoring and Data Visualization tools

You must have hands on experience in Build Automation and Release Management

You must have worked hands on with Build repositories like Archiva or Nexus

You must have worked hands on with Build tools like ANT, Maven and Jenkins

You must have worked in deploying Java and Non-Java applications

You must have exposure to Nginx, ApacheWebServer, Websphere, Tomcat or Red Hat TC Server, Tibco/MQ/JMS, JBoss etc.

You must understand protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SMTP

Strong understanding and prior work experience with Mongodb, Hadoop and Lucene is a huge plus.

Additional Technical Skills:

(You need not have done projects on this but must be familiar with)

Unix/Linux Server Administration, VMWare vSphere, VMWare vCloud, VMWare App Director, VMWare Puppet, Munin, Nagios, Ganglia
