Junior Project Manager:
Location: NY/NJ and possible travel to Singapore 
Key Responsibilities 
Work with client personnel to identify, analyze, and evaluate project and
program risk factors 
Manage teams and provide project governance and technical leadership in the
analysis, design and implementation of complete project risk reduction
approaches 
Maintain scope, budget and schedule integrity working cooperatively with the
ABC company Software Development team and leadership 
Develop and maintain project management plan 
Serve as a role model by promoting and demonstrating commitment to commonly
adopted processes and standards for project management both at ABC company
and industry-wide, recommending process improvements when necessary 
Manage the process of building and maintaining effective on going
communications and relationships between the project team and the clients to
confirm that projects are completed in a manner that satisfies objectives 
Leverage the cumulative knowledge of all team members and actively
participate in task accomplishment when there are gaps in team capabilities 
Job Requirements 
Understanding of scope, schedule, planning, time management, resource
management, communication management, and cost management 
Ability to understand, influence and analyze project suppliers to confirm
business objectives are met 
Create, develop and manage the project scope and schedule for simple to
complex projects 
Define create and maintain project documentation 
Identify risk, cost, resource, and dependencies; plans strategies to address
risk, cost, resource and dependencies 
Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders; manage project
stakeholder expectations; negotiate with and influence project sponsors on
project specific items 
Effectively explain difficult concepts and issues, and persuade others to
adopt a point of view; anticipate and communicate ramifications of decisions
and issues to project stakeholders 
Responsible for allocation of staff and budget resources to meet changing
project/program needs 
Proactively identify and address project strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats 
Identify alternative solutions when project plans hit roadblocks 
Apply judgment in tailoring methodologies, processes, and practices to
specific requirements of programs/projects 
Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and
responsibility with engagement team members, and use current
technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services 
Basic Qualifications 
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience 
Direct experience in leading/managing full lifecycle projects 
3 -5 years of experience in project management 
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred 
Strong oral and written communication skills 
Strong Technical skills (i.e. Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft project) 
Experience working with Project Management Body of Knowledge or similar
discipline 
Must be able to demonstrate strong Influencing skills 
Experience in project risk management 
Relationship management and business development experience 
Ability to effectively interview and interact with project executive
sponsors, a project team and external consultants 
Ability to travel (10-40%)
