We are seeking a top notch technical contributor with 6 or more years of professional experience in high availability and high performance Oracle database environments.
Candidates must have extensive experience with RAC install and configuration using OCFS2 clustering on Oracle 10g/11g database. Candidates must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the design, installation, deployment, maintenance, and tuning of large and complex applications and databases on Linux RHEL 5.x or OEL 5.x platforms. Experience with high performance SAN environments is expected. The ability to write and analyze shell scripts, SQL, PLSQL and Oracle Utilities is required. In addition, candidates with experience in managing databases supporting large applications such as SAP, Enterprise One ERP, Siebel, Oracle AIA, Data warehouse and/or e- Commerce solutions are highly desirable. Candidates should also be familiar with Oracle install, patching, security patching and Oracle bug fixes.
Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment and independently. Excellent analytical skills, written, and oral communication skills are absolutely required. An overall knowledge of information technology and an ability to resolve complex problems and proactively provide solutions is expected.
