Qualifications
Bachelors Degree Required.
9 -12 years in Quality Assurance
Strong and deep knowledge on process management with solid project management skills.
Prior implementation experience on process framework implementation and cross functional team management.
Strong experience in working with all stages of software development lifecycle and specific skills in Validation portion of the lifecycle.
Expert in QA skills and knowledge.
Experience working in Bloomberg TOMS, Market Axess, Trade Web ECNs for Trade flow testing
Knowledge of various stages of software quality assurance including Black Box Testing, White Box testing,
Performance, Stress and Load testing, requirements analysis, test planning, reporting/control and root cause analysis.
Communication Skills at both business senior management levels and IT senior Management levels.

Work within centralized testing organization as Senior QA team member which delivers standardized tools, best practices to the Major Project of CS.

 

The role involve:
The overall Quality Assurance Process for the firms Major Initiative
The ownership of the Quality Assurance for the complete Testing Lifecycle from Unit Testing through UAT for tasks and applications assigned to the individual.
The ability to identify and coordinate cross function Test processes to ensure that vertical testing streams and front to back testing are coordinated.
To work with virtual testing teams to ensure full end to end functionality of systems changes are tested.
To communicate overall risk being assumed to business, development and testing management teams on the open items in a release or the level of testing completed per release.

 

Key Deliverables
(i.e. Outcome) -Complete ownership for all testing across multiple applications built with a varied set of
tools/technologies
Analyze business requirement documents and work closely with BA, Development and QA teams in clarifying business requirements
Develop high quality test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases from business requirements and provide effort estimates on test development, execution and for other tasks
Execute functional, system, integration and regression testing based on task assignment; report, track and follow up on product issues in a timely manner with Development, BA and Support teams
Work with the Testing Leadership to further evolve standards for End to end testing as a service and the Engagement model for the service.
Experience in Manual Testing, QA, Testing Processes and Methodologies, Shared Services methodologies.
Work closely with BA, Developers, Support, Offshore/Onshore QA and Management to promote successful delivery of products on time with focus on Quality
Maintain a strong knowledge base for a suite of technically complex products and participate in scrum & issues review meetings on QA deliverables
Support continuous improvement of the current and existing software quality assurance methodologies process Strong Investment Banking process knowledge specifically Fixed Income Trading will enable the success in being able to work with both the business and technology to bridge the gap from construction to delivery.
Provide insight to best practices for test plans and strategies.
Attend release planning meetings understand the domain for releases and seek opportunities for improvements to currently manually executed regression Ensure that all releases are coordinated and proper sign off is completed.
Develop cost/benefit analysis for implementing and closing gaps in such areas of functional Testing, Regression testing, Unit Testing, UAT testing, environment management and release processes.
Knowledge of Process Reengineering, good communication skills, Metrics and KPIs critical to the success of the roleQuality Center, Visio and MS Project.
To maintain end to end Testing Lifecycle process documentation set (STLC+) for testing service delivery by STS under various system development methodologies including waterfall/ agile
Collaborate with tools team for leveraging Testing tools (e.g. Quality Center) appropriately for process compliance.
Above includes generating, maintaining process artifacts (templates, checklists etc.) for PTG.
Develop a mechanism to track defects leaked to production back to defects detected in test and or test cases that have not fulfilled their remit.
