Job Description:
- The Delivery Engineer (DE) for the Global Enterprise Content Management Center of Excellence (ECM COE) will collaborate with ECM Lead Delivery Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers to design, build, implement, and enhance current and next-generation ECM document image and processing solutions, including SOA interfaces between core business applications and ECM systems.
- The DE will provide technology leadership to an ECM project team in order to build and integrate solutions that realize the business enhancement promises of our worldwide ECM implementations.
- Deliverables will support rapidly growing document volume while deriving immediate positive impact on business process quality and efficiency, with technologies including auto-classification, handwriting recognition, OCR, and Web Services to interface with core systems.
- This role will focus on delivery of Content Management solutions using the EMC Captiva (InputAccel) toolset including Advanced Recognition (Dispatcher), and the export of documents and meta data to a document repository.
- This role may require up to 25% travel, including international opportunities in Europe and the UK, Asia, and Latin America.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a hands-on technologist for the Enterprise Content Management COE project delivery team.
- Leverage deep ECM tool knowledge and delivery experience in designing, cost-estimating, and developing ECM solutions
- Write clear illustrative documentation that demonstrates implementation details
- Assist testing and production support teams with troubleshooting and problem remediation
- Align all work activities to ensure compliance with best practices in capture, ingestion and retrieval of content, document and data recognition automation, content integrity, and interfaces to core systems.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in current and next generation ECM concepts and technologies/tools.
Desired Experience:
2 - 5 years Captiva- and EMC Documentum -based solution delivery experience in a corporate environment, leveraging some or all of the following disciplines:
- Import (MDW, Email), Scanning, Classification, Extraction, Validation, and Export.
- Automated Classification and Extraction using OCR, OMR, and ICR technologies for high volume environments utilizing Captiva Advanced Recognition (formerly Dispatcher)
- Experience planning, configuring, supporting, and managing large scale Captiva deployments, both on premise and potentially off premise (cloud based)
- Experience extending and customizing Captiva as necessary to meet solution requirements.
- Experience exporting documents and meta data to Content Management Systems like Documentum or Content Manager
- Remote Capture solutions including Mobile Capture
- Function and Performance Testing of Capture Solutions
3+ years of experience in SOA design and development using Java, .NET, and/or Enterprise Service Bus technology / tools.
Strong working knowledge of System Development Life Cycles - including Waterfall and Agile/Scrum
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Demonstrated strength in technology delivery
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
