Job Description:
The HCM Business Systems Delivery team has the need for a temparary PeopleSoft System administrator to support projects in the coming year.
5 to 7 years of PeopleSoft Systems Administrator experience including Environment builds
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the Installation, support, troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization, SQL
tuning, applying bundles, Feature packs, service packs and patches, and application and PeopleTools upgrades.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in supporting PeopleTools 8.5x environments (8.54 PeopleTools preferred)
Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience with HCM version 9.x (HCM 9.2 preferred)
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in configuration of Application designer, Application servers (Tuxedo), Process Scheduler servers, Web Servers (Web Logic), Search Servers.
Expertise in PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) - installing, configuring, maintaining in PeopleSoft
Expertise in PeopleSoft Integration Broker Gateway (IB) - installing, configuring, maintaining in PeopleSoft
Administration experience with setup and configuration, PeopleSoft end-user query tools (Query manager, Crystal reports, Tree manager)
Minimum 3 to 5 years of SQL Experience
5 to 7 years building and maintaining LINUX / UNIX environments, shell-scripting and ORACLE SQ 11g and experience with Exadata preferred.
Knowledge on PeopleSoft reporting tools and technologies like PS QUERY and SQR
Must have strong problem solving and communication skills.
Hands on experience in building and supporting PeopleSoft Portal Environments
Hands on experience in applying multilingual PeopleSoft packages.
Build/Create new environments to support development and upgrade initiatives.
Migrate program changes to the test and production environments.
Apply patches, service packs, and bundles to multiple environments as required.
Troubleshoot issues and maintain detailed documentation of issues and the changes that are implemented to resolve them.
Performance tuning, Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and tune the applications using traditional techniques and tools like PeopleSoft Performance monitor, Oracle enterprise manager, Quest TOAD.
Provide day to day support of multiple PeopleSoft environments as part of a PeopleSoft Administration team.
Provide off-hours on call support.
Configure/Set up Integration Broker and Web Services.
Establishes PeopleSoft system specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing system infrastructure.
Maintains PeopleSoft system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software; escalating application problems to vendor.
Secures PeopleSoft system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support.
Upgrades system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing
enhancements and new software.
Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
