As a UX designer in the Front Office Application, Project, Process and Services (APPS) team, the UX designer will play a key part of the idea generation process, working in an exciting group which takes full ownership of the design and development of a new enterprise-level investment decision support application and user-customized reporting. The UX designer obsesses over the user experience, advocating for it and inspiring the team to execute on the vision. The UX designer will be comfortable taking a data-led approach to design and excited about working in an agile, collaborative environment. The UX designer will possess great interpersonal skills and practices and be comfortable speaking and presenting to executive leadership and large audiences.

Objective of Project:
The project is a redesign and re-architect of a large internal website that the investment staff uses to run reports and common tools. The project is a strategic initiative for the Front Office and will have sponsors from high levels of the business.
The current implementation has evolved over 10 years so there are many perceptions from the diverse user base of what the site is not doing for them or what it no longer needs to do.
With the importance of the project and the amount of eyes that will be on it, the UI/UX resource needs to have excellent communication skills and be a credible figure to the users.

Required Skills:
1. Experience with UX and responsive web designs of online customer-facing applications (Expert 5+ years)
2. Experience managing the design for new user experiences, creating concepts, designing mockups and specifications, use case scenarios, prototypes, style guidelines, and representing the designs to the team (Expert 5+ years)
3. Great understanding on the relation of interaction and visual design with proven end-to-end UI design experience (Expert 5+ years)
4. Experience with pre- and post-launch usability testing, user-centric approach to design, and complete balance of the end-user experience with the stated business intent (Expert 5+ years)
5. Experience with HTML (HTML5) and CSS (CSS3) and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud (Senior 3-5 years)

Desired Skills:
1. Advance front-end technologies experience: JavaScript, jQuery (Senior 3-5 years)
2. Information architecture design experience – how everything is organized to support the frontend (Senior 3-5 years)
3. Experience in research of design trends in the investment landscape (Senior 3-5 years)
4. Agile software development experience (Senior 3-5 years)
