Job Description

 

Looking for a Java programmer who can perform design and development for mainframe systems. Must have strong Java, J2EE. Must possess strong Analytical and documentation skills.

 

Requirements:

 

·         Minimum 14 years of total IT experience with Java and J2EE is must.

·         Must have strong experience SQL.

·         Must have development, design and production support experience.

·         Strong communication skills.

·         Must have strong Analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills.

 

Preferred:

 

·         Extensive experience in Core Java and JEE technologies. Legacy connectivity experience is a plus.

·         Extensive experience in UML and strong knowledge of Design patterns.

·         Solid Object Oriented Analysis skills with experience in design documentation.

·         Experience in Object Relational Mapping technologies like JPA/Hibernate.

·         Experience in SOA and web service technologies.

·         Experience in different application servers, preferably IBM Websphere application server.

·         Experience using the IDEs like RAD, RSA.

·         Experience in  messaging technologies like MQ series.

·         Experience with Mainframe technologies including CICS, COBOL, DB2 is a plus.

·         Database experience with relational database systems like DB2, Oracle. Oracle experience is preferred:

·         Experience working with Government contracts is preferred.
