Roles and Responsibilities: Program management of initiatives within the sourcing and procurement technology group, Manage projects for Supplier Hierarchy and Contingent worker management tool

• Manage projects in accordance with Corporate technology guidelines and project management lifecycle
• Develop project plan and manage deliverables
• Track and manage project financials and resource time
• Prepare senior management updates

Job Family Description:

Leads large complex technology programs containing multiple, interrelated projects targeting at achieving an overall business goal. A Program is defined as an LOB scale endeavor requiring multiple independent work streams to accomplish a defined result. Leads programs from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, analysis, design development and implementation. Establishes project requirements, priorities, and deadlines. Ensures project is completed in accordance with all, Risk, Architecture and other relevant firm wide guidelines. Coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects. Manages budget for assigned program, monitors program progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members. Role may also include people management responsibilities.

Proficient in the following:

(1) Project Task Estimation; (2) Resource Scheduling; (3) Risk Management; (4) Issue Management; (5) Adherence to Standard Project Lifecycle; (6) Budget / Financial Management including Business Case completion; (7) Evaluation of impact to Total Cost of Ownership for large complex technology programs with multiple simultaneous and interrelated projects This individual may lead several teams that may cross project boundaries, but typically will be responsible for both deliverables and projects.

• Miscellaneous Test Director No 2 Novice 3-4 Within 2 Years
• Packaged Applications MS Office No 1 Intermediate 7-8 Currently Using
• Programming Languages Data Warehousing No 2 Novice 3-4 Within 2 Years
• Protocols MS Project No 1 Intermediate 7-8 Within 6 Months
• Specialties Project Management No 1 Expert 9-10 Currently Using

Additional Skills:

• 10 + years of experience in IT

• Technical knowledge of Data Warehousing Excellent Project Management Skills (project task Estimation, resource scheduling, risk management, issue management, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled in use of the Microsoft Suite of tools
• Experience with project management lifecycle
• Knowledge of vendor management a plus
• PMI Certification a Plus
• Knowledge of Clarity a plus
