Duration:  6 MONTHS with option to extend

Job Description:

This contractor will be used to augment the current Data Services staff in performing core storage administrative and operational activities.

The expectation is the contractor will already have expertise in the specific technologies installed at the client and with minimal direction will be able to perform the day to day storage administrative tasks, storage allocations, zoning and provisioning, upgrades, storage migrations, and reclamation activities. The contractor will also need to be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate planned activities that must occur outside of normal business hours, as well as participate in an on-call rotation to provide emergency after hours support.

"Must have" skills:

- Expert level skills in EMC storage administration

- Experience in supporting the EMC VMAX, DMX, Symmetrix, Clariion, VNX, and Celerra, platforms

- Experience using EMC SMC and Unisphere tools to provision storage

- Experience working with EMC Technical Support

- Experience in support Cisco SAN infrastructure

- Experience using Cisco Fabric Manager to perform zoning function

"Nice to have" skills:

- Experience using EMC Open Replicator, SAN Copy PowerPath, Atmos, and Replistor

- Working knowledge of EMC FAST Virtual Provisioning on Symmetrix, FAST on Clariion, SRDF, Timefinder, and Control Center

- IBM TSM administration knowledge

- Working OS knowledge of AIX Unix, Windows server, and Linux
