JOB TITLE: Visual Basci 6 Developer

Duration: 1 Year

Location: Manhattan, New York

Required Skills/Experience

Candidate must have in-depth experience in application development and support, with the ability troubleshoot existing code and modify existing applications written in Visual Basic 6.

Must have experience in business analysis, and development of adhoc complex data queries and reports utilizing relational databases utilizing Microsoft Access, as well as the development of applications to support business efficiencies and automation.

Additional Skills

.Net, SQL Server.

Exposure to utility customer operations systems, or other industry customer billing or transaction processing systems is a plus.

Assignment

A System Analyst is required to review and document, in detail, multiple in-house developed transaction automation applications and modules written in VB6.

In addition, the candidate will support the existing applications and be expected to develop ad hoc applications utilizing existing modules to fulfill requests to automate transactions.

Finally, the system analyst will develop data queries in Microsoft Access to support ongoing business.
