 Data Center Business Analyst (DR Work Stream- DCO Program) 
  
 Technically minded business analyst to support our data center  infrastructure program. The Data Center analyst will support data  gathering and analytical efforts for our initiatives pertaining to our  Disaster Recovery and Leased data center space.  
  
 This individual will be expected to think critically about Data Center  infrastructure and process complex data sets and workflows into  actionable strategies. This role acts as a liaison with our project  management, applications hosting, managed network services and  infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with stated plans and convey  program level information as required.  
  
 The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of prior experience in technology infrastructure managing costs.  
  
  
 Job Responsibilities: 
 Analyze operations, infrastructure, engineering and other business  information processes to identify and specify disaster recovery  solutions and standards 
 Analyze current DR system, current deployment, and forecasting growth.   This analysis will help determine the DR data center strategy,  including using current facilities or co location facilities. 
 Work with IS group and business owners to translate business needs into disaster recovery and data center solutions  
 Develop cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders to improve  the integration of Data center Capacity and Disaster Recovery Planning  into the overall IS planning effort. 
 Work closely with the project management, Application Hosting Services  and Managed Network Services teams to design and document solutions,  make recommendations and ensure projects are implemented as per design  specifications. 
 Work with vendors, consultants, service provider, manufacturers and  other industry experts to help with the development and design of an  enterprise-wide leading edge DR strategy. 
  
 Preferred Qualifications: 
 Technical Skills: 
 Strong knowledge of the Storage Area Network technologies and Hardware  and the leading Vendors (EMC, IBM, HP, Cisco, McData, Brocade,  DataDomain, NetApp) 
 Strong knowledge  with Data Replication (EMC), Data protection (EMC  & Symantec products), Data provisioning (EMC Products), and Data  virtualization (VMWARE) 
 Familiarity with intrusion detection and protection systems, network security, segmentation  and  management 
 Experience working with hardware and application inventory databases. 
 Previous experience as Lead Architect or Technology Silo (Platform)  Lead in Data Center relocation/consolidation/divestiture (a plus) 
 Previous experience with Application Dependency Discovery (a plus) 
 Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery and Data Center architectures, components and procedures  
 Knowledge of technical diagrams, process and network flowcharting and  project management using MS Office applications, including MS Project and MS Visio and similar applications 
 Ability to obtain understanding of the functional area business  models/processes and priorities to leverage that knowledge in solutions  to meet business needs 
  
 Communication and Project Management Skills: 
 Experience leading projects and programs within and outside IT, as well  as projects and programs that involved external providers 
 Communicates effectively and possess the ability to influence peers and  project team, sponsor and Steering Group, additionally influence wider  business and PT stakeholders  
 Ability to work in a cross-matrixed (cross-functional)  environment at various levels within the organization 
 Good oral and written communications skills and the ability to interact  efficiently with a large Project Management Office and several  Technical Teams 
 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, business analysis and decision-making skills 
 Experience working in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Biomedical devices/Healthcare Industries 
 Able to multi-task and stay focused on priorities in a fast paced  environment to meet deadlines, including the ability to be comfortable  and function effectively in an environment of ambiguity 
 Strong team player who is able to collaborate with colleagues on  complex tasks and can use influence to achieve the required results
