Business Analyst with Health care EXP<081012 BRABER>

Location: Owings Mills, MD;

1+ Year Contract



Job Description:
o Plays a prominent role in capturing and managing requirements
o Oversees analyses of business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment and performs specialized or highly complex analyses
o Serves as a subject matter expert and the liaison between technical personnel and non-technical personnel
o Communicates with clients and/or other appropriate personnel to define client business needs; leads the translation activities of technology requirements into business language, and facilitates client adoption of value added business solutions
o Defines use case models
o Provide input for technical designs
o Create requirements through requirements elicitation, documentation and management
o Develop business process models using Business Processing Modeling Notation (BPMN)
o Capture business information needs
o Leverage Requirements Capturing, EA and modeling tools such as HP Quality Center
o Align requirements traceability with testing efforts and defect remediation
o Demonstrated success in applying Business Analysis best practices and techniques such as Use Case modeling and practical UML.
o Ability to prioritize tasks/objectives with strong organizational, administrative and analytical skills.

EXPERIENCE:
o Minimum of 9 years or more experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Manager, Business Architect, Business Process Modeler or Business Rule Analyst.
o Minimum of 5 years or more working in HealthCare.
o Minimum of 4 years exposure to IT infrastructure, including network and web architectures.
o Minimum of 5 years or more working with Facets or NASCO Claims systems.
o Minimum of 9 years working within a comprehensive System Development Lifecycle Management framework.
o Proven ability to retain a professional and logical approach to tasks under challenging or time constrained situations.
o Experience working in a large, fast-paced project environment.
o Team player attitude with a focus on the success of the team is a MUST.
o Proactively collaborates with other team members across global time zones with the upmost professionalism, tact and resolve.
o Working experience with SDLC and deliverables associates with each phase.
o Specific experience with use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, process flows, state diagrams, context diagrams, RTM's, and system requirements.

Desirable Skills:
o Successful completion of formal business analyst training program is preferred, such as CBAP certification.
