APPLICATION PACKAGER:

Our client, a leader in the Energy Industry, has an immediate opening for an Application Packager to join their team in a contract role. The project will entail a Windows migration from Windows XP to Windows 7.  Candidate will package and repackage Apps for Win7.

Requirements:

 

*         Experience with AdminStudio 6 or later or similar packaging tools

 

*         Experience packaging, re-packing or customizing software for installation and deployment

 

*         Experience with application delivery product such as LANDesk

 

*         In-depth knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems

 

*         Strong knowledge of Windows registry

 

*         Strong knowledge of security principles and the securing of Windows XP and Windows 7

 

*         Experience with scripting and automation tools

 

*         Experience with application and desktop virtualization technologies

 

*         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

 

*         Adaptability, planning and organizing skills, attention to detail

 

*         Ability to work independently and handle multiple issues simultaneously.

 

*         Must have good oral and written communications skills, excellent organizational and teamwork skills, and be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

 

*         At least 4 years of professional experience in an Application Packager role.
