Websphere Admin/Engineer for Chicago
Actively seeking a senior level Websphere Admin/Engineer for a 10+ month contract assignment in Downtown Chicago.
Candidates will have the following minimum requirements:
5+ years experience in WAS 6.0, Websphere 6.1 installation, tuning and troubleshooting
Strong working experience in the IHS/Apache Webserver installation and tuning including plugin configuration
Knowledgable in the AIX and Linux operating systems
5+ years Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Websphere Application server 6.0 & 6.1 in a multiple tier (firewall/load balancer) environment Scripting, automation knowledge, portal experience, ESB/Websphere process server a definite plus
Knowledge of Wily Introscope toolset 1-2 years
Identification of components in the websphere application server space,
Migration, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of websphere application server instances
Configure websphere application server including global security, MQ, Database and CICS transaction gateway
Participate in load tests to assess statistics successful migration
