Job Description
• Review the data and technology architecture design of key application projects to ensure alignment with the
enterprise standards and target architecture/roadmap.
• Work with senior staff across all technology solutions teams in the development and maintenance of the bank’s end to end information architecture by creating data architecture strategies and developing the associated roadmaps and high level plans.
• Formulate the data standards, processes and procedures to align with the data architecture for Finance project.
• Support various technology teams in data analysis, data modeling and data design related topics and provide
guidance and mentoring to IT development staff in data management related areas.
• Liaise with Finance and Product Control teams in gathering and documenting business and data rules where
necessary, provide data acquisition, data transformation, archiving and delivery strategies.
• Provide transactional and analytical data models to support the re-engineered processes in Product Control
Environment.
• Assist in defining metadata model that would support the Accounting Engine, PnL Reports, and the data
distribution to downstream systems.
Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 2+ years experience in Financial Markets and familiarity with Front Office Trade Booking Systems and Product Control functions.
• 5-10 years industry experience across all aspects of systems development, technology strategy creation, and
management with an emphasis on data.
• Familiarity with Balance Sheets, Income Statement and Accounting Standards.
• Proven analytical capability and thorough working knowledge of modeling and model management for ER- and UML-
based models.
• Exposure to key data standards and trends in financial services.
• At least 4+ years of extensive experience
• in working on the following tasks:
• Enterprise data architecture management
• Data warehouse, data mart, ETL/ELT and Business Intelligence technologies
• Engaging with senior people within business, operations, and technology
• Experience on data interface protocols, tools and standards, and familiarity with Data Delivery/Integration
Tools.
• Knowledge of recent trends in database and associated technologies.
• Strong understanding of the relationships between processes, data and technology.
• Good team work with strong influencing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organized.
