Job Description:

PREFER LOCAL CANDIDATES. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS. Responsible for the analysis, design, programming, testing and maintenance of user interface (UI) components and functions for the application. Additionally, the Senior UI Developer will apply current best practices for UI design, cross-browser functionality, usability, and interface performance to ensure ease of use and effectiveness. The Senior Developer will collaborate with the users, subject matter experts, UI Designer, Business Analysts,and Developers to integrate business logic, manage data quality, and establish consistent, intuitive user interface for the application and associated components or systems. Requirements: Five or more years' experience in the analysis, design, programming, testing and maintaining complex enterprise applications. Advanced programming skills using JavaScript, AJAX, XTHML, HTML, XML, CSS, XSLT, JSON, and JQuery. Skilled in object-oriented analysis, design and programming; design patterns such as lazy data loading, MVC; data binding. Knowledgeable of current user interface design best practices, accessibility, cross browser compatibility, page optimization, web application servers. Experience using a source code version-control system such as SVN (or similar). Verbal and written communication skills sufficient to clearly convey complex technical topics with diverse, non-technical users and stakeholders; ability to use standard English grammar and punctuation.
