Description:

Provide Level 1 and 2 Technical support to both Internal and External clients

Monitor and maintain a wide variety of Tele-Communications equipment (Cisco, Motorola, HP, Firewalls,) on a daily basis using our Network Management tools - approximately 13,000 network devices

Identify, Isolate and Resolve many complex issues using various network management and analysis tools

Own and drive problems to final resolution as well as escalating complex issues to appropriate internal support teams and external vendors

Possess knowledge of multiple Networking components such as but not limited Cisco Routers/Switches/ACEs/CSS and Motorola routers

Govern and support a rigorous Change Control process

 

Provide world class customer service and support must always have customer first attitude

Possess general knowledge of the financial and retail industries as it applies to payments and services

 

Must be able to work well with peers and with minimal supervision and capable of multi-tasking

Job Specific Responsibilities Cisco WAN (Frame-Relay/MPLS and VPN infrastructures on Cisco 1700/1800/2600/2800 series routers)

 

Cisco LAN (Switches, Load Balancers and GSRs)

 

Basic understanding of the following Cisco principles:

 

Cisco Routing Protocols (EIGRP/BGP/OSPF)

Cisco NAT, ISDN, QOS
