Job Description:

 

This resource will assist the Data Quality team in gathering, documenting and testing business rules within a Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence environment.

 

The resource would have to be a blend of both a business and technical background with experience in SQL scripting and knowledge of business data.

Required skills:
3+ years of experience in a Business/Data Analyst writing functional specifications within traditional IT SDLC projects
2+ years of experience working directly with business users on Data Quality projects defining, documenting and testing business rules
2+ years of experience creating detailed unit test plans for IT and UAT plans for business users, preferably for Data Warehouse

Must have strong SQL scripting experience

2+ years of experience creating and executing SQL and other scripts to perform testing
Experience working within a Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence environment
Experience profiling data and developing business rules based on the results
Ability to clearly articulate and understand both business and technical users
Self-managed with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bachelors Degree
