Job Description:

 

Required Skills:

• Excellent skillset with UML 2.x diagrams.
• Ability to utilize above skillset to deliver detailed designs for system/software delivery.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Demonstrated understanding of Software and System testing approaches.
• Ability to plan, organise and manage own time
• Analytical thinker with problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• The ability to use development or support applications and tools as necessary to deliver project outcomes.
• A degree of proficiency with software programming languages is desirable.
• A working knowledge of web services and system integration techniques.
• Advanced working knowledge of standard PC applications (MS Word/Excel/Access, Visio etc)
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related IT Discipline.

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to deliver detailed technical specifications and designs.
• Demonstrated ability to prototype technical solutions.
• Experience in guiding small to medium sized teams towards technical outcomes.
• A background in either software development, systems engineering or network engineering is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in past system integration projects, particularly web service based.
