Job Description:

 

Required Skills:

Experience in software development team creating released Windows software
Software build skills using MSBuild or comparable.
Version control software skills (any modern version control system is helpful)
Operating system knowledge: understanding of Windows operating system for

security settings and IIS settings, comfortable with registry.
IIS (Creating/removing virtual directories, use of AppCmd, AppPools, .NET framework)
Virtual server: Basic understanding of snapshots and how to perform unit testing of installs
SQL Server (execution of .SQL and basic understanding of SQL language)
Windows Installer (MSI) : Understand how to analyze Windows Installer logs, use of ORCA,

Windows Installer SDK (debugging installs).
Installation creation tools: Windows Installer XML (WIX) most desired,

Installshield (, Wise, or some other tool) is helpful.

Coding skills:

 

C# for creating custom actions within WIX, WPF is helpful for customizing

UI with WIX created UI, VBScript is helpful as well.
