Job Title: Web Application Developer (Ref Code: 012313-WILBLA-IO30-E-SAN)

Location:  Sacramento, CA

Duration:  Long Term

Visa Type: GC/USC/EAD


Job Description:


REQUIRED SKILLS:

X Experience developing web-based applications using Visual Studio .NET.

X Able to develop and support web programming languages, specifically C# and Javascript.

X Understands web based technologies such as ASP.NET and WPF.

X Proficient with web markup such as HTML, CSS, and XAML.

X IIS web site administration duties to include site and server setup, installing required patches.

X Web site monitoring functions are necessary to detect and eliminate any attacks on the website.

X Ability to build Web Services to support interfaces to partner agencies (District Attorneys office,

etc.)

X Ability to build and support web applications that interface to RDMS systems using ADO.NET

X Ability to work in a team development environment using a source control system.

 

OTHER DESIRABLE SKILLS:

X Development of stored procedures; understanding of Transact SQL for Microsoft SQL Server.

X Able to design online forms using Adobe Professional.

X Familiar with various data transport protocols including SFTP, XML, JDXDML, NIEM

X Familiarity with secure internet communications.

X Ability to support legacy development projects written with Cold Fusion.

X Able to extend and support online reporting system using MS SQL Server Reporting Services.

X Able to create and support SQL Server processes using SQL Server Integration Services.

X Able to effectively document project requirements and system support information.

X Familiar with mapping applications, especially ESRI products.

X Experience in Windows environments is preferred.

X Understanding of networking principles.

X Ability to analyze system resource usage and constraints.

X Recognizes problems, develops recommendations and solutions within assigned specialty.

X Works independently and follows through on assignments.

 

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

X A background check is required.

X Telecommuting is not offered.

X Overnight travel is not required.

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

Full-time contract, M-F 8-5
