Title:          SAP BPC/System Architect

Location: Universal City, CA

Duration: 3 months

Rate:          $85/hr

 

MUST HAVE SAP BPC module experience.

Qualifications:

Required 5+ years of BPC experience in a consultative and/or IT capacity with at least 4 BPC project implementations. Domain knowledge of implementing the planning functionality of BPC for Finance and Sales/Marketing applications Hands-on experience with BPC development; including the following: o Report & input template development o Complex VB code o Script logic o Dimension automation o Data manager package build o Security, FX TRAN, and business rules Experience with in and outbound interfaces between BPC and SAP ERP Superior verbal and written communication skills Onsite work location Universal City, California Ability and willingness to work off business hours and weekends as needed Desired BPC education or recent experience on the Netweaver platform and a solid understanding of differences between NW and MS SQL server knowledge Migration experience from MS to NW platform for BPC Media & Entertainment industry experience

Responsibilities:

Understand SAP ERP (ECC6) footprint at NBCU and usage of BPC applications Assess and advise on solution footprint for projects working in conjunction with SAP CoE resources, and other consultants Engage with other SAP CoE team members and business units in project discovery, and realization Assist with design and perform build activities on BPC implementation projects Coordinate integration between BPC and respective source/target systems Plan for optimal BPC technical landscapes, considering concurrent usage by multiple divisions in multiple environments and application sets running different Microsoft versions (7.0 & 7.5) Recommend and execute system performance improvements Assist on production support issues escalated by the support team
