Job Description:

 

IT Analyst III serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with vendor and in-house developed applications. Documents functional requirements, analyzes requirements in the context of software and processes, develops test plans, assists with and documents business process improvement efforts, and works with production issues. 

Day to day activities? 

• 
  Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers. 
  • Collaborate with the project team 
  • Absorb and become familiar with Target State requirements, 
  • Stay current with daily/weekly analysis, write testable solution specs and user stories 
  • Complete all the necessary documentation required. 
  
  Must Have Skills: 
• 
  Good communication skills (oral and written) 
  • Excellent analytical skills (ability to break down complex tasks and concepts into manageable pieces; ability to aggregate and structure singular tasks and patterns/themes into clear unifying concepts) 
  • Hands-on experience in the SDLC including gathering requirements, root cause analysis and exposure to testing 
  • Experience with DOORS, JIRA/Rally 
  • Experience with Agile methodology 
  • Ability to review & contribute to application test plan, and evaluate test results. 
  • Experience as subject matter expert working with business and technology groups to meet the information needs of the stakeholders 
  • Experience developing application requirements 
  • Ability to work on broad-assignments within the team including the ability to deliver results with limited guidance and oversight 
  • Experience in definition and framing of issues and developing solutions working with business and technology partners 
  
  Preferred Skills: 
  • Experience with J2EE, TIBCO, Tableau, Informatica a plus 
  • Prior development experience a plus. 
  
  Education/Experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. 
  • 8-10 years experience required.
