Position: Requirements Analyst / Systems Analyst

Location: Vienna, VA

Duration: Long Term

 

 

Pure analysis experience required on the technical side 

Basic Purpose  

The Requirement Analyst supports business unit and organizational initiatives by managing the analysis of system requirements for prioritized business projects to ensure business needs are met. Specific activities for creating and managing system requirements include: 

Works on larger and more complex projects and initiatives with little direction 

Analyzes and translates unique and highly complex business requirements into technical solutions 

Participates in building and updating the requirements management methodology 

Broad knowledge and expertise of systems and the industry 

Develops and presents demonstrations of proposed solutions to project issues 

 

Additional Qualifications Required 

Demonstrated experience in application/systems analysis, workflow or procedural analysis 

Demonstrated experience of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) 

Demonstrated experience in analyzing, translating and communicating business requirements 

Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and good judgment, and make sound decisions 

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team 

Demonstrated use of established requirements elicitation techniques

 

Manager's Notes:

* At least 7 years of experience 

* Visio is a MUST 

* Blue Print experience is a plus 

* Good communication and interpersonal skills required 

* Temp position, possibility to go perm after 6 months 

* Location- Headquarters (Vienna, VA)   

* Prefer financial/banking industry background
