Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Primary Responsibilities include:
Provide Quality Assurance services and support for the assigned functional areas:
Lead the implementation of issue management for the Quality Assurance team:
o Support assigned functional teams in implementing Issue Management process.
o Work with stakeholders to determine issue scope, Impact and Urgency and validation of containment.
o Internal Corrective Action process, facilitate Root Cause Analysis and participate in identification of issue containment activities.
o Update QA Issues trackers for new issues and tracking them to closure.
Perform in-depth analysis on issues data for identifying trends and process improvements and create dashboard reports for ICA meetings.
Provide reports on issues data to various levels in the organization, functional leads, Executive management etc.
Provide support to baseline and optimize QA documentation on SharePoint side and facilitate brainstorming sessions to define a process, document the critical processes and ensure the right controls are included in the process.
Create process maps and develop procedures for critical business and quality processes.
Provide Metrics Management support by facilitating identification of key metrics for critical business processes, create metrics package for executive reporting. Participate in metrics analysis sessions, provide feedback on metrics reported and help identify corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with Vendors Quality to ensure effective involvement/implementation of Quality tasks. Work closely with external operations vendors to ensure internal and external inter-vendor data flows are properly executed and appropriate data quality controls are developed and maintained.
Support functional teams in creation Reports/templates/formats by effectively using Quality Tools/techniques/methodologies.
Review functional team deliverables/outputs such as process documents, publications, requirements etc.
Required Skills:
3+ years experience in Quality Assurance
Knowledge of Quality principles, standards and methodologies
Strong analytical and data analysis experience with structured problem solving ability
Proficiency is usage of MS-Excel and MS-Power Point for data analysis and presentations
Flexibility and desire to quickly adapt to new methods, situations, and various requirements
Excellent communication (writing, speaking, presentation), Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively handle multiple situations simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel (less than 15%)
Education/Certifications:*
Educational Qualification
B.S. degree or equivalent in engineering or computer science or operations research is preferred.
