Job Description:

Our client is searching for an ETL/Informatica Developer. MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

--Develop ETL solutions (Informatica workflows, Tivoli Schedules Unix shell scripts) to support operational management of data solutions

--Provide production support of data solutions, including troubleshooting production failures, script revisions and reviews, status notifications and on-going support of development activities.

Functions and Skills:

--Informatica experience. Using toolsets (fast export, fast load, etc.) v 8.5 or greater for building out workflows to be managed via a Tivoli Schedule.

--Ability to work with development team to determine script load dependencies and then build out the production Tivoli schedule.

--Unix shell scripting knowledge required

--Strong business and/or technical analysis background

--Working with end user and internal teams to define business, data and technical requirements

--Strategic Planning and Thinking

--Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, analytical and problem solving skills

--Experience reading and interpreting business rules and requirements

--Telecommunications background a plus

Experience:

--Tivoli and Informatica experience required

--UNIX and shell scripting mandatory

--In depth knowledge of the Teradata Databases SQL and CLI tools mandatory

--Telecom experience preferred

--Ability to multi-task and work in a highly dynamic environment with multiple teams comprised of technical and business resources.

--General Operations Skills Knowledge

--Data Architect/modeling experience highly preferred but not required
