Position: Business Analyst w/ Business Intelligence (Ref code: 013014-SIAMAR-EX-IO30-JOH)

Description:

We are looking for a strong Business Analyst with excellent communication skills to be a liaison between the business and technical staff. This BA will in a very data driven role and needs to have a min of 4yrs experience with BI tools, ideally Spotfire or Tableau but others may also be acceptable.

Required Skills:
Reqirements and Testing Skills (5+ years)
Business Intelligence Tools like Spotfire, Tableau or comparible (5 years)
SQL and database fluent (3-5 years)
Top notch written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills:
DB2, Oracle (1-3 years)
Financial Industry (Intermediary/Advisor areas) (1-3 years)
ETL/Informatica (Novice)

Project Focus:
This effort will be to support business needs in the Financial Intermediary and Advisor area. This includes requirements for new data needed in the data mart, and consultative support for complex data oriented business problems.

This person will document detailed data requirements and collaborate with an ETL developer to translate business requirements into data solutions. They will also provide expert assistance to business partners that require BI tool support for higher complexity problems.
