Job Title: IT Project Manager Consultant (91515-ALLSCH-IOM-E-ARI)
Location:  Camp Dodge, Iowa
Duration:  6+ months
Emp.Type:  W2/1099

Responsibilities:
Planning, facilitation, removing technical and dependency roadblocks, and driving successful software delivery for our partners.

Continuously monitors team throughput and velocity to achieve iteration goals and commitments

Uses technical and functional knowledge to remove roadblocks within the standing team and identify technical risks (e.g., risks with architecture, design, patterns, performance, etc.)

Communicates obstacles requiring outside resolution to the Project Manager

Facilitates effort estimates with the team to support release, iteration and project forecasting/ funding process within the Business Solution Area (BSA).

Collaboratively lead standing development teams to deliver high quality working software through the adoption of innovative best practices.

Work in partnership with project teams to deliver project objectives through structured planning and iterative
delivery.

To improve quality and increase the velocity of software delivery, collaborate with various stakeholders, user
communities, and project teams to learn and implement best practices.

Perform peer to peer coaching, training and mentoring to improve process competencies across multiple agile teams.

Serves as an expert in project management and manages all aspects of a moderately complex information technology project or multiple, medium-scale IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost.

Executes moderately, complex information technology projects from the original concept through the final
implementation as well as ensures that the projects are aligned with standards and IT strategies.

Establishes and communicates goals and directs team activity.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate studies in business, management information systems, computer science or related field. BA or equivalent is preferred.
Project Management Certification is preferred.
Software Development and Agile experience is preferred
4 years of agile experience.
