Solution Architect
Participate in translating client's business requirements into specific IT architecture designs.  This includes working with client personnel and executives to identify functional requirements and subsequently work with others in the identification, justification, and design of the client's solution. Must have excellent communication skills as this is a high profile project, client facing project. Will be designing the Architecture which will be rolled out enterprise wide.  
 
Responsibilities Include:
Work as part of a team providing support to customer business units, strategic partners and the technology community
Participate in user requirements and specification meetings and perform and participate in design and code reviews
Produce functional specification documentation based upon client business requirements and work closely with various departments to coordinate efforts to meet deadlines
Assess and analyze the requirements needed to implement changes and advise on the options available to support the request within the system constraints while assessing potential risks and impacts
Design, Architect and Develop solutions based on suitable design patterns
Adopt new and emerging technologies to provide solutions to client needs
Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into suitable solution architecture
Document key DevOps processes by producing formal documents like Business, Functional & System

Requirements:
10+ years of experience in application architecture / enterprise architecture, systems integration and development.
Expertise in multiple technology platforms: Hadoop/HWX; NoSQL tech Cassandra, MongoDB; Big data movement and processing technologies like Talend, Kafka, Storm; Greenplum; d3js 
Able to run pilots in competing technologies and clearly and rationally articulate the decision to pick one over technology over other
Experience with architecting End-to-End systems/solutions
Strategic thinker with strong track record of providing an overall architecture for a line of products
Must have a strong track record of delivering high quality software
Excellent experience and knowledge in software development methodologies
Strong cross-functional skills to lead and collaborate for result

Education:
Bachelor's Or Masters' Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems OR STEM disciplines
