Job Description:

The GBS Investments Solutions Consultant possessing strong business acumen (process & data/information) coupled with strong system application knowledge performs with minimal direction a variety of roles in the creation and maintenance of large enterprise wide/global complex solutions (including data infrastructure, reporting, automation and applications) that address the informational and analytical needs of the Investment Management, Investment Research, Global Trading, or Global Investment and Institutional Client Services (GICS) divisions.These roles stem from all phases of the project lifecycle and include research, requirements gathering, solution design, solution recommendation, application development, and system testing.The Solutions Consultant acts as a consultant and partner with the Investment Business Community, Global Investment and Institutional Client Services (GICS), and Global Business Solutions and Technology (GBS&T) project teams to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and executed upon.

Contractor will work as a developer on small team dedicated to support the Asset Allocation department.They will report to a technical team lead and interact with team members and business stakeholders.The team's development process uses a Kanban approach to track project priorities and progress..

 

 

Required Skill:

Is to build and maintain software to support the Asset Allocation department.

Contractor will work with Asset Allocation development team to help maintain C# and VB..NET Winforms applications and create new WPF client-side applications in C#.

Good user-interface design skills will be helpful.

The contractor may also perform coding in SQL Server 2008 and middle-tier development (WCF or Web API).
