Position: Sr. Informatica Developer (Ref code: 100914-MICGRI-IO40-JOH)

Location: Herndon, VA

Must Have's:

10+ years of experience in full life cycle of application/system development
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in design and development of large scale ETL and Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions out of which at least 6 years must be in ETL using Informatica products. Minimum of 5 years working with PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and B2B/Data Transformation. Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Virtualization, Metadata Manager and Proactive Monitoring are a plus. Experience in all facets of warehousing including Sourcing/Staging, ODS, DW, Marts, reporting and schema design
• Minumum 2 years' experience with scheduling software such as autosys
• Very strong Unix and shell scripting experience required
• Strong programming experience with SQL and Oracle databases
• Strong experience in Performance Tuning and developing High Volume Data Loads required
• Minimum 2 years interfacing with messaging based systems and ESB's like TIBCO EMS
• Minimum 2 years' experience with XML is required - Highly specialized in XML/XSLT and other XML related tools and technologies
• Minimum 2 years developing technical execution metadata driven solutions including business rules
• Experience programming with Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services a plus
• Minimum 2 years' experience developing in distributed applications development (Database, Transaction Management)
• Minimum 4 years' experience in developing large scale enterprise applications
• Minimum 5 years' experience writing conceptual and detailed design documents, including UML diagrams
• Strong understanding of SOA concepts, design patterns, tools, techniques and best practices
• Must have proven ability to provide project estimates and work-breakdown schedules
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written. Including ability to work with all management levels
• Ability to share technical knowledge and clearly communicate technical concepts
• Must have high integrity and accountability, possess a positive attitude and be willing to do what it takes to make the team successful
• Must have proven ability to manage priorities and timelines
