Job Description :

1 year plus contract (strong possibility of extensions)

Our top client in the Baltimore area is looking for a Systems Analyst to provide support and troubleshoot database issues.

The Analyst will need to have scripting experience along with previous troubleshooting and systems analysis knowledge.

As a member of the team, this individual will develop basic code or programs within the business applications.

Will also act as first point of contact for job failures, reviews problems and works to resolve issues.

 

Required Background:

**3 years of professional working experience

**Perl and/or Shell Scripting experience

**Ability to create Basic SQL queries

**Understanding of Java Web Services (able to read Java and understand some concepts at a basic level -

no programming or development is required) .

**Basic understanding of Relational Database Concepts and Design

**Analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills

**Basic level of Production Support experience

**Ability to work independently and in a team environment

**Strong verbal communication skills
