Job Description:
Responsibilities:
The Senior Java Developer will need to have experience administering and programing
in a large enterprise environment.
Chose candidates will be responsible for assisting in customization and development of application systems.
Designing, programing, and coding software in response to specific business requirements.
Understanding how to optimize joint development efforts through appropriate project
design, database use, code creation, and software architecture.
Developing design specifications in compliance with IT Architecture.
Resolves user issues and suggestions.
Required Skills:
Service Now developer with experience administering and programming Service-Now in a large enterprise environment.
Knowledge of various ServiceNow modules such as Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, Configuration Management, Reporting, LDAP, SSO, MID Server, Inbound emails.
Experience using Web Technologies (JAVA Script, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP).
Experience with Service-Now customization including, but not limited to: Client Scripts, UI policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Business Rules, workflow administration, report setup, data imports.
Worked with Apache Jelly to create advanced customizations of UI Pages/Macros and Script Includes.
Experience with Integration technologies such as Web Services, LDAP,SOAP, HTTP, MID Server, Orchestration, Orchestrator and third party software integrations.
Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle.
Working knowledge of the web applications, networks, protocols and email (i.e. SMTP)
Assist in the definition of business requirements, determine scope, estimate work effort and determine duration of development activities.
Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and SDLC - ITIL V3 Foundations Certification preferred.
