Proven working knowledge of testing methods, tools, and software testing best practices

Will execute testing of new features/changes/fixes as a part of each release as well as design/execute regression test suites to ensure existing functionality is not broken by the new release
Strong SQL, functional, and regression testing experience

Responsibilities:
Under little or no supervision conducts a wide range of tests and analyses with competency to ensure that software, systems, and services meet minimum company standards against defined functional and non-functional requirements. Executes complex tests according to established plans and scripts; documents problems in tracking tool or similar; retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved. Creates supporting test data with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flows. Drafts and revises complex test plans and scripts, and has the ability to create traceability matrices. The engineer may also be required to document, execute and maintain regression test suites. Identifies, recommends and implements changes to enhance the effectiveness test methodology and strategy. Analyzes and designs new or modified testing process and procedures.

Experience:
5+ years prior work experience as a test engineer
3+ yearsf experience testing large enterprise systems/applications with concentration on web/UI testing without the aid of a front-end or UI where back-end data verification is required
Exposure/experience in Ruby/Cucumber/Selenium is a plus
Experience with testing SAAS (software-as-a-service) platforms
Creating functional, regression, and exploratory test cases/scripts
Strong SQL background/ability to write queries
Experience with testing CRM, digital e-mail marketing service, and/or B2B web-based administrative applications is a nice to have
