Job Description:

The important thing we are looking at here is developers that have went through an Oracle 10 to 11 upgrade and specifically had to upgrade Java code including remediation of deprecated functions and modifying SQL and/or hints to target the Oracle 11 optimizer.

Oracle & PL/SQL Developer experienced in Oracle 10g to 11g upgrade

Required Skills:

- Strong Analytical Skills

- Experience with 11g Optimizer

- Performance tuning to make existing code work from 10g to 11g

- Oracle 11g+, PL/SQL (Minimum 1 year experience)

- Experience upgrading Java code & PL/SQL to support upgrade from Oracle 10g to 11g (Good

understanding of Java but not necessarily to develop Java)

- Remediation of deprecated functions

- Modifying SQL and/or hints to target new optimizer

- Unix & Windows XP

*Bonus if WTX or Mercator experience - HUGE PLUS!!*
