Our client has a contract job opportunity for a Microstrategy Expert in Gwynn Oak, MD.

Job Description:

Develop a Business Intelligence Solution for a large (to-be developed) Case Processing System. To include data warehouse development including data modeling, data analysis/design, cube building and ETL functionality under an SOA platform. Utilize ETL tools (such as: Cognos, Oracle, Teradata) as well as Business Intelligence application (Micorostrategy / Oracle OBIEE) to create the solution. Work with Senior Management, Customer, consultants, programmers, DBA's and other data warehouse architects/analysts on a daily basis.

Education Requirements:

       BS+11; MS+9

 

Skills Requirements:

       Extensive hand-on experience with integrating BI COTS product Microstrategy/Oracle OBIEE.

       Extensive experience managing the development, implementation, and administration of datamarts, data warehouses and complex financial and reporting applications under multiple platforms combined with a solid background in information technology management including, database administration, networking, systems analysis and systems support. 

       Experience in all aspects of data warehousing including data architecture, analysis and design, ETL and Business Intelligence plus the ability to bridge the gap between end-users, technical professionals and senior management.

       Experience with real-time data warehouse integration using SOA, XML, ODBC and other communications methods.

       Experience with Architecting and designing warehouse schemas and ETL.

       Experience with a Business Intelligence environment in multiple integration platforms.

Position: SQL SERVER ARCHITECT DBA

Our client in Woodlawn, MD has a contract opportunity for an SQL Server Architect DBA for a long-term contract position.

Position Details:

·          This work effort is to assist in SSA's development of the Windows Development and Production Environment (WDPE), which is a project that is mandated to establish standards for development and production support for application systems on a Windows platform. The resource will be evaluating SQL server tools, developing database support and design standards/guidelines, developing application development standards for SQL Server, and providing DBA support for SQL Server databases.

Required Skills:

·          QL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008 including:

·          DBA experience (strong experience required)

·          database design and implementation

·          database performance tuning

·          application performance tuning

·          troubleshooting and debugging

·          backup and recovery

·          XML – Database design and tuning

·          XML – Application access and tuning

·          Clustering

·          Replication

·          Virtualization

·          ETL experience using SSIS, Informatica, or other industry tools.

·          .Net Application development experience.

·          Excellent written and verbal skills.

·          Ability to independently research problems and provide solutions.

·          Knowledge of NIST Database Guidelines

Education:

               An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field with 11 years of experience, or a Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field with 9 years of experience.

Our client in Woodlawn, MD has a contract opportunity for an AS400 2E/Cobol Developer for a long-term contract position.

Responsibilities:

Information Technology Support Services Contract (ITSSC)

 

ACI is a partner with Lockheed Martin on this contract supporting SSA.

 

Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] has won a role on a new $2.8 billion, seven-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide information technology solutions to the Social Security Administration (SSA).

The Information Technology Support Services Contract (ITSSC) encompasses a complete range of services related to SSA’s major systems modernization initiatives. Over the seven-year contract period, Lockheed Martin will receive ITSSC task orders to provide support in the areas of Design, Development, Testing, and Maintenance; and Data Base Administration, Imaging, and Document Management.

The ITSSC continues work Lockheed Martin is currently performing under the SSA’s Agency Wide Support Services Contract. Recent achievements under the AWSSC include integrating electronic medical records into SSA processes and leveraging the Nationwide Health Information Network; developing new, web-based self-service tools that enable more timely service delivery; and applying Enterprise Architecture strategies to drive agency efficiencies.

Required Skills:

AS400 developer skilled in Computer Associates 2E Cobol (also known as Synon/Advantage 2E) code generator tool

·          Experience in designing and implementing data-intensive systems between AS/400 and a minimum of one other platform.

·          Proficiency with the COBOL on the AS/400 (iSeries). (Must Have)

·          Proficiency with a code generation tool; Synon/Advantage 2E. (Must Have)

·          Proficiency with SQL.

·          Proficiency with automated unit testing and the XP programming methodology.

·          Proficiency with one or more version control systems; preferably Aldon, CVS, MKS Source Integrity.

·          Self-starting, hands on, highly motivated individual required; team player who can adapt to changes in client requirements.

·          Ability to read other people’s code and hit the ground running.

·          Experience as a technical project lead including but not limited to the ability to assess a problem, to breakdown a solution into tasks, and to prioritize, size, and assign these tasks to a team.

·          Good communications skills (both oral and written).

·          Good organizational skills.

·          Problem resolution skills.

Education:
