Our client is looking for a BizTalk Consultant in
· We are seeking a senior consultant to lead a team of contractor and government employees focused on BizTalk solutions for various projects within the customer space.
· Responsible managing the operations and maintenance of production BizTalk solutions.
· Bears responsibility for ensuring custom BizTalk solutions meet the highest level of security and data integrity.
· Must be a local resource.
Responsibilities:
· Consultant will provide architectural guidance and knowledge transfer for the following tasks. Consultant shall provide direct support to the Microsoft and client infrastructure teams in all direct and peripheral technical support activities, supplying resources to assist with the efforts listed below. The Microsoft Engagement Manager will provide daily direction of these resources. Should the client request that the consultant resources work on an effort not listed below, Consultant will work with the Microsoft Engagement Manager to execute a contract modification to incorporate any new responsibilities.
Requirements:
· 7-10 years experience of consulting or relevant work experience.

· Provide architectural guidance and knowledge transfer in the development of both architecture planning and LOB application designs, as well as prototyping, piloting and integration of Microsoft technologies with new and legacy systems.
· Provide needed knowledge transfer surrounding the deployment and integration of Microsoft technologies and services into all areas of the client Information Technology Infrastructure.
· Provide architectural guidance and knowledge transfer for planning and executing its application development strategy on current Line of Business Applications well as subsequent refreshes of these Microsoft technologies during the period of performance of this contract.
· Provide Microsoft Architecture and Planning Advisor(s) for assistance and guidance with application architecture, design and implementation.
· Provide knowledge transfer and advice for the development of technical specifications around application development components.
· Provide knowledge transfer and assistance for other technical duties as assigned by Microsoft.
· Provide assistance with Microsoft products such as SQL server, BizTalk, SharePoint, Silverlight, Windows Mobile, Microsoft FAST Search etc. as directed by client.
· Support of the ATS and NTC SharePoint portals.
· Support BizTalk system messaging (ATS-4, Federated Query,etc.), design and implementation.
· Assist with Consignment support: build air cargo advanced screening page that can be utilized by the NTC.
· Assist with the commencement of integrating ATS-4 into ATS-5: Foundations and design work.
· Assist with SQL server database and SCOM build out, design, management and maintenance.
· The Contractor shall provide support to perform the following tasks:
o Advice and assistance in designing and deploying a Web service to expose the ATS data to non-ATS applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
o Advice and assistance from ATS Developers in establishing connection pooling within the ATS application.
o Advice and assistance with knowledge transfer, architectural guidance and planning support to assist ATS Developers in the redesign to be enabled within the .Net framework to migrate ATS to the .Net Architecture.
o Microsoft product support (such as SQL server, BizTalk, SharePoint).
o Support of the ATS and NTC SharePoint portals.
o Support BizTalk system messaging (ATS-4, Federated Query, etc.), design and implementation.
Education:
· A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in Computer Science or similar field with a minimum of 7-10 years of professional IT experience. In lieu of degree, we will accept additional years of experience with related skill set.
