Our client has a contract job opportunity for a Build/Release Engineer in Woodlawn, MD.
Job Description:
The Build/Release Engineer is responsible for working closely with the development, QA and operational groups to produce automated software build and releases, using a variety of tools. The Build/Release Engineer will be responsible for developing automated build and install scripts.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and implement processes to strengthen, streamline, and automate build processes
· Setting up and maintaining automated build system
· Develop build and install scripts
· Troubleshoot and resolve build issues
· Creating and maintaining branches as needed for debug iterations and releases.
· Interface with developers, quality assurance, and production support to ensure reliable and successful
· configuration management
· Establish uniform build and release practices for the development needs and document build processes
