Clients Information Solutions Group Business Systems Unit (ISGBU) provides
an array of business systems support, one of them including Remedy. Remedy
platform applications include Service Desk (Incident Management, Problem
Management), Service Level Management, Change Management, Asset Management,
Configuration Management and other customized applications
ISGBU is currently in the process of re-implementing Remedy to version 7.6.x
which includes an IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. We are looking for
an experienced person who had extensively worked in Remedy ITSM products
before and can work with our team to setup and configure the new system with
all the processes
General Requirements:
* Gather the Requirements, Foundation data for setting up the
new system
* Help design test plans and carry out the testing for the
requirements gathered
* Prepare project plans, documentation and handle task
management
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
English.
* Knowledge and understanding of business processes and
information systems.
* Must be able to work well under pressure in a high demand
driven environment; flexibility in work related issues, prioritize workload
and balance conflicting demands.
* Demonstrated conceptual, analytic and innovative problem
solving ability; ability to conduct independent research and analysis.
* Proven ability to deliver tasks on time, contribute to
project with minimal guidance; capacity to work both independently and
within a team; willingness to seek advice and assistance.
* Proven ability to develop and maintain good working
relationships with staff at different levels across the organization;
evidence of leadership effectiveness.

Specific Requirements:
* At least 7 Yrs of aggregate specialized experience in IT
industry and experience in Remedy.
* Has in-depth functional knowledge of Remedy applications,
primarily the service desk, asset management applications, and change
management applications
* Must be proficient in installing and configuring Remedy
applications on Unix systems.
* Has functional knowledge of environmental software such as
Unix system, Web application platforms such as Tomcat.
* Analyze Foundation data and configure them in the system
* Expertise in configuring and implementing 7.6.x applications
* Thoroughly understands Remedy SMPM process
* Expertise in ITIL best practices and its implementation in
Remedy
* Expertise in configuring the system for optimum performance
to use from country offices
* Expertise in Remedy CMDB and AIE to integrate data with
other external systems
* Expertise in implementing SLM in tracking the ticket
handling time at each Tier level and how that can be reported for KPIs
* Remedy certification is a plus
